We are pleased to announce that the Camara Municpal has issued the habitation licences for Atriplex and Coprosma! This means that the building is deemed fit for habitation.
Some clients have asked us how this can be the case when there may be some snags. Please remember that snags are usually smaller imperfections or items left unfinished but they should not impede habitation.
The water and electricity supply on Sal, and in Cape Verde, is not linked to the issuance of this licence. This is because there are many houses and homes in the country that are built and never have water or power! Seems amazing to those used to European construction but in Cape Verde many many people do not have running water or electricity in their homes.
For our Resort, we have had all of the electrical and water installation correctly put in and tested. The only bit that remains now is for the utility company, Electra, to literally press the button and turn the valve.

I would like to know when owners will actually be able to stay in their appartments, seeing as the first appartments were snagged back in February. Also can you please give us new completion dates - particularly for Yucca.
ReplyDeleteDo you have any idea when you will be doing the snagging on tassel?
ReplyDeleteWould be great to know when you think we mighn't be able to stay in our apartment on tassel.
Thanks
Is the blog ever going to be updated, its almost a month since the last update has nothing happened on VV ?. When can we expect realistic snagging/completion dates ?
ReplyDeleteAny new dates for snagging ?
ReplyDeleteAre any of the post to be answered ?
ReplyDeleteRecent reports from Villa Verde are that the water and electricity are not installed yet. Are Electra the supplier of water and electricity and can you confirm these supplies are in?
ReplyDeleteIs the blog alive ????? remember you last post:
ReplyDeleteGood evening again. Those of you who wondered if the Blog was still alive have underestimated our ability to push the August summer hols into the beginning of September. But here we are!
The summer hols have finished, So why havent we heard anything for over a month. Are they still working on VV. Is the development to complete ? A response would be great, theres a lot of worried purchasers out there !!!!!!
How long does it take to get approval ? another month ?
ReplyDeletewhen will yucca be completed
ReplyDeleteEverything is completed except for the final documents to be sent to me. The hold up is we have been sent a form to complete from the bank via out solicitors on the island. However the form is in portuguese and we have absolutely no idea what it is asking us to fill in, the solicitor has really been no use as he says they do not have the form in English and having emailed the bank twice have had no reply. This had been going on for months now. Is there any other English buyers who have/had the same problem and if so how did they get round it?
