We have had a HUGE response to these trips, as we have advanced to you in other messages.
The idea behind these visits is merely to listen to questions and concerns and try and address them in the best way possible. We have not invited clients really, we have simply made ourselves available and then tried to combine our timing and itinerary with yours.
As the response is literally overwhelming we are trying to fit as many people in as possible but it's not easy. Even using half hour slots we can not attend to everyone and have been forced to adopt the following measures:
We have planned the trips and sent out apointments with 30 minute slots. If you can not make that time we will have to put your appointment off till the next visit.
We know this is not ideal but it's remarkably difficult to achieve this kind of planning with a small staff and such large numbers. Please rest assured that we are workingn to try and see as many of you as possible on this trip and we WILL post everything of use here.
Perhaps you could also post questions that you want answers to. The latest comments have all been about the trips and there have been little regarding the resort and current news.

There are many questions regarding the resort and future plans. When can the facility be used ? Are the utilities connected to the individual communities ? What documentation is required by electra to connect individual units ? In which communities is furniture and AC installed ? What are the service charges ?
ReplyDeleteOK, lets talk about the Resort. When is it going to be before someone can use their investment? Are the problems more serious than you are letting on? Do you have any up to date pics?
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments. If you go to the Web album we have you will see photos of many communities from March 2010. That is pretty up to date, I would think. Phase I units are ready for use, there is just the question of getting your utilities set up. Electra has been difficult up to now so we will try and intervene on your behalf next week.

To answer the question on furniture and AC. There are installations ongoing for 117 units. These should be ready in a matter of days.
ReplyDeleteThe documentation for Electra does seem to change on a daily basis, so as stated earlier we are going to appeal to them to unify their criteria and allow a single authorisation form to be used.
The community charges have not been decided but are also NOT being levied so don't panic.
I am hoping to have my utilities connected soon in Canna and I am planning to travel when I get news of connection, also can you tell me is the televsion satellite connected and if so what stations ie English will be connected, also can you use freesat like we have in Ireland.

ReplyDeleteAre the units going to be ready for owners to furnish at the back of april, i have booked flights to do so having been told Atriplex and Coprosma would be ready to furnish 1st week in feb, i am told the NOTARY is causing problems with deeds being signed. I accept i may not be able to stay in the appt is there any problem with depositing furniture which is arriving by container on 28/4. All payments have been made and if i dont require WATER or POWER i am hoping this shouldnt be a problem. Your response is eagerly awaited. Regards

ReplyDeleteYou mention a problem/issue with the utilities. Have any units actually got water / electric connected INTO the apartments? I am in the process of waiting for the deeds but am unsure of when my apartment in Atriplex will be habitable.
ReplyDeleteI understand that Tecnicil has been bombarded with requests for appointments but could you please ensure you respond to all of them. A mass email would be sufficient. We emailed you for an appointment around two weeks ago and have heard nothing from you at all.

ReplyDeleteNo reply was received to email requesting meeting in Dublin. From the Forum I can see Dublin was not visited. Any update on completion date of Ficus as the published date of end of february is well gone. When will this and other questions answered at meetings be published

good evening just on the issue of compensation i paid 2 x completion fees the first week in feb 10, neither property has gone to deeds as yet, am i still accruing compensation at the rates indicated in the blog
